COL Duquesne “Duke” Wolf (Ret.), 93, died on December 26, 2017 in Niceville, Florida. Duke was born in New York on July 23, 1924. During the Korean War, he served with the 65th from 1952-53 as a platoon leader in the Regimental Tank Co. and was later promoted to Captain and served in various positions ending as S-3 (Operations Officer) of the 1st Battalion. While there, he earned a Bronze Star for Valor and another for Meritorious Service. Duke later served in the Vietnam War and retired from the Army after 31 years of service as a colonel. Duke appeared in “The Borinqueneers” documentary film. Reported by his wife, Myong.
