Please join us for a presentation of “The Borinqueneers” documentary film on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Rome Capitol Theater, 220 W. Dominick Street, Rome, NY 13440. Filmmaker Noemi Figueroa Soulet will be in attendance along with 65th Borinqueneer veteran, Juan Monclova-Lebrón and will include a screening of the film as well as an archival photo exhibit. This event is sponsored by the Maranatha Church. Maranatha Church has played an essential role in making Rome a better city in which to live. It has bridged gaps between the growing Hispanic community and the city and has helped restore families, not only spiritually and emotionally, but financially and educationally. Nov. 11, 2017 – New Jersey’s NJTV to Broadcast THE BORINQUENEERS on Veterans Day
In honor of Veterans Day, the PBS station in New Jersey, NJTV will be broadcasting the documentary film “The Borinqueneers on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 7:00pm (EST). It is a wonderful opportunity to tell the story of the very meaningful and historic military contributions of the Borinqueneers to more than five million TV households in the NJTV coverage area.
